[bg=black][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] The harvest ball although the name can be rather misleading. When the person hears of the would ball, one would imagine the idea of women dressed in elegant gowns and men dressed in some kind of suit. Where the rooms was extravagant and big, the floor spotless that it reflects the top of the room that would hang a chandelier. At least that was what a ball should have been but when Tsukuyomi had stepped in, it was nothing like what he had expected. Yes the room was rather big or at least it was adequate enough for a large amount of people but the place didn't have chandeliers. No, instead it had hay, lots and lots of hay that for a moment he had though he had stepped in the wrong place. He never did have a good sense of direction but the streets had showed him right here. Yet confusion was not written on his face as it stayed its neutral state. He simply stepped out for a moment to see if there was any signs outside. Lucky for him there was one that had the words Harvest Ball on it. This was the place alright unless it was some prank. Did Loki and Sin do this? He tilted his head for a moment but since he had no clue and part of him doubt they would go that much out of their way, he had stepped back into the hay filled room.
There were some people in there but they certainly weren't well dressed. Then again neither was he, as he was in his student uniform. He saw no reason to change and so the male had wore this. Also it was a last minute thing as well since when he heard of the ball, he at first did not wish to go. There was no need to go but the day before a letter arrived from his father telling him to go as it would help the Aikiko family's reputation to the public and so he didn't have enough time to buy a suit. That was why he had wore his student uniform as it was the closest thing and it was a good thing that he didn't wear a suit as it seems that the rest weren't either. Still it bothered the male on why it was called a ball when it was nothing like one. It could hardly be called a social gathering. People can be so strange sometimes alright. Mentally he sighed before walking over to some place quiet. Maybe if he was lucky he could just read his book and no one would come up to him. Yes, just blend into the crowd somehow. An invisibility spell? That would certainly come in handy right now. No, if he does then everyone would think that he never came and word would come to his father. That would put him in trouble, at least if he stood somewhere people might just give him a small glance and then return to their business. At least that was the ideal situation.
Slowly Tsukuyomi took out a book he had brought along with him. It was something he wanted to finish. If he was lucky maybe he could finish the book and during the time the ball ends he could go out and stargaze for a moment before going back to the dorm where he would most likely be unable to sleep. Much to his misfortune he was an insomniac so it was hard for him to sleep during the night. He had always felt restless and he had a lot to keep him awake. Happy memories with his family before the divorce, times with a runaway princess that abandoned her people and him for her own happiness, the annoyance of Sin and Loki, the aggravation he would feel whenever he look into the monkey's eyes and a certain marriage that never happened. His mind would always wonder towards those subject for no apparent reason and it was rather peeving to him. That was why it was better to stargaze, then he had something to focus on so that his mind could not wonder.
Soon the male had grown thirsty and closed his book. He walked over to get a glass of water that was provided. From the looks of it, it was obvious that the water was not very clean but seeing the place he was in, he shouldn't had expected much from it. With no choice he silently braced himself and poured the drink into his mouth. He felt the water touch his throat and the taste on the tip of his tongue. It was rather disgusting but despite that, his face still stayed the same.

[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][bg=silver] like it's dynamite.

Why was Tuesday here? Because she took someones invitation. She felt just because she was dead didn't mean that she couldn't show up to a party. As far as she was concerned she was still a princess...still very important and people should still care about her. Even though nobody truly went through with investigating her memory. In fact most just tried to forget about her. However she'd been living it day by day so that she may somehow get over it. So far she has sucked it up and locked it deep down. That hope never went away though. That maybe someday someone would open the doors to her room and finally set her mind free of what happened.
Tuesday had saved up a lot of energy for this. Instead of looking transparent to those who could actually see her she looked oddly...solid to the human eye. However she did have a little dress on. She always wore dresses. She also had something on that said her fashion choices were about forty years old. Her dress looked nice and new but it was a little out dated. It was a nice little black dress with a white ribbon on it. She had cut it so that it would stop at her knees. Her hair was brushed but not put up. She looked nice. However she still looked the way she did the day she died. It wasn't like she was covered in blood but she looked like a princess who was supposed to be dead. She silently wondered around though looking at all the decorations. They did just fine but she thought they could do better. A lot better.
She continued looking around keeping enough energy to be seen by people who normally couldn't see her. She hoped nobody would recognize her. But for some reason it wasn't like. So far she got people glancing at her and then looking again to see who it was. Others just kind of stared. 'This is really boring. People need to wear nice things. Not normal clothes. They should dance nice too! I can't control it though, all well.'
she continued watching everything from the sides of the room. Eventually she finally got really bored and became transparent again. 'Time to mess with people!' she let out a creepy giggle and continued around the room looking for someone to mess with. Yeah, new chance to mess with new people. That's what she saw this as. She eventually got to a snack table with the water on it. She stared down at it and then walked around spotting someone that looked oddly familiar. She had to stop herself from gasping. She bit her bottom lip hard. Perhaps she couldn't tell from behind. She slowly started to walk around him to see his face but paused and turned to get a cup. She filled it with water and then walked over spilling it on his shoe. "Oops," she said slowly starting to appear again so that he may see her in case he wouldn't be able too. "I'm sorry." Her voice was apathetic and dull. She looked up at him disappearing again so that there would only be a floating cup. [/blockquote]

[bg=black][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] When Tsukuyomi took had drank the water he placed the cup back down on the wooden table that had no cloth even. Well at least it wasn't hay he supposed. He hated the sight of hay now and he was barely here. Maybe it was just that he was accustomed to actual balls but still. The word ball certainly had much higher standards tan this and he supposed him being a perfectionist simply makes him hate such a sight. The school dance was a lot better than this since at least it didn't look like a farm. He noticed that there were some decorated pumpkins on some of the hay some having strange smiles while others were much more decorated to cats, bats and even the moon. Part of him wondered just how little of a life the carver must have to have done this for a party that would not bring him any kind of profit at all. Sure some would say that it was for charity but that was not something the warlock would believe. No, why would he believe in such a thing? Everyone have their purpose for performing civil acts, they are always after some sort of benefits, it was in their nature.
The male was about to walk over to go back to his book when a he felt something. He couldn't name it but it certainly made him stand still. He saw a cup float up and poured in some water. He didn't think much of it. He was sure that someone was using magic due to how lazy they are. He wouldn't be surprised. People can be lazy and love to abuse their powers at times..Yet instead of the cup going elsewhere are a delivery it had fell. Plop! The cup hit the ground and the water had spilled out of the container and onto Tsukuyomi's shoes. He had looked down for a moment slightly annoyed at the damage but his face didn't show it. Then again his face never showed anything so that wasn't exactly saying much. He can feel the water slowly sinking into the material of his shoes. He closed his eyes to slightly focus and whispered a sentence in ancient tongue to remove the water from his shoes. "Oops," A voice? He looked around for the source that sounded close to see a girl slowly materializing from no where. Her green hair was familiar that he would like to say it was a certain princess but he quickly dismissed it. She was dead, long dead and gone from this world now. Just like everyone else she was gone.
He truly did brought misfortune to others. The only good thing about him would be his talents but even then he hated it. Having talents wasn't always good because he could not improve on anything if there was no room to improve in. His golden orbs continued to stare at the girl and his foot had not moved other than a small step back to get out of the way. That and to avoid any physical contact as well, a trait he had developed for a reason that he wasn't so sure of.
His eyes continued to stare at the girl who wore a white dress. Her emerald green eyes bringing back rather unpleasant memories but even then they were only small flashes. He never did have clear detail of what happened. "I'm sorry." Her voice sounding more tired than actually repenting. Yet he could had sworn that he could recognize her despite the fact that his mind, the logical one, had told him that it was impossible. She was dead and that was that, the wedding canceled and he went back to his normal life. Yet here she was unless this was her doppelganger. There is a legend that there were three people that looked exactly like you but for her to materialize pointed to the fact that she must be a ghost. Before Tsukuyomi could do anything she slowly faded back into the background as if nothing had happen. Without thinking he had grabbed onto where her hand was but felt nothing but air, albeit cold air. He wasn't sure if it was because the door was open or if the rumors of a ghost being cold is true. He never did possessed the ability to see ghosts.
The male had blinked as his hands went back to his side as he tried to put everything together. If he was right then it was Tuesday but why was she here? She had no reason to be here unless she was here to show who the murderer was. To reopen the case that no one dared touch on the orders of the king. He wasn't sure though and part of his tilted at the source of water wondering if something was put in it. At balls it wouldn't happen as it would make the host look bad but at parties, he wouldn't be too surprised if there was some kind of alcohol in it. Actually a part of him had expected to now that he had thought about it. "Tuesday." he spoke her name quietly to himself the image still clear in his mind. His eyes slightly softening up as she was the one who had left him through death. It was quite sad because she had made him express himself a bit albeit it was just a small amount. Still compare to how he was now, it was quite a lot. He quickly shook his head though before looking at the spot that she had once occupied. Tuesday stared at his face for a long moment examining every single feature. He looked just like him. She pushed it into the back of her head telling herself it just couldn't be him. Not here. He'd be old, right? So perhaps he could be related to him. It just couldn't be him. However the way he acted. The way he just stood there rather then getting super angry made her suspicious and partly frightened.
Memories flooded in. She tried to compare the actions and his face. 'Impossible! It has to be completely impossible.'
She told this to herself over and over again. After a while she really would have to believe that. Right? You just can't stand there and lie to yourself and not eventually believe it after a while. In this case, somehow she didn't manage to do this. After a while living day by day was turning around on her. Lately it seemed as if she could never forget her past. Before it seemed so easy. But as time continued on everything just changes. Perhaps life is just like that. Or perhaps death is like that. Maybe in both life and death no matter what happens the past will always be there. If it's good it'll be there and if it's bad its not going anywhere. But why does it seem as if the bad is always hardest to forget. She wanted to leave. But she just couldn't. She stood there, invisible to him and everyone around her. She just couldn't leave. She was certain it was him no matter how hard she tried to lie to herself and give herself an explanation. No matter what happened here he was. Still young and alive despite what he did. Here she stood, dead, lonely, and hurt that nobody bothered to set her free--on the verge of tears. Silence. Then he said a single word that just broke her down. Her name. It had to be him. It was just too much coincidences for it not to be. Why was he here? Standing here in front of her his heart still beating. Why was he alive? Why had nobody ever actually caught him for what he did. If she were alive, then she'd be on the floor from lack of oxygen. She slowly began to appear not bothering to hide her eyes that had seemed to puff up a little from some of the tears. "Tsukuyomi," she answered back frozen in all the shock and fear that he was actually standing in front of her alive. [/blockquote]

slam, slam, oh hot damn. what part of 'party' dontcha understand? It was kind of a surprise to see Riko appear in the main room of the Harvest Ball. She didn't ever seem the type to waste her time attending specific events such as this, nor had she ever been. When she had heard "Harvest Ball", there had been a cringe at the idea of one thing only - dressing up. She hated nearly all forms of dressing up, and formal attire would rarely ever be seen on her. If she hadn't found out that the dress code had been just casual, she would have never came. But, why was she even there at all?
Parents. They forced her to go, with some weird intentions of wanting 'alone time'. At that, she had to go, because otherwise... well that basically speaks for itself. Although she could have ditched it and instead wandered around town, there was really nowhere else to go without money for that long, and the jacket she wore wasn't thick enough to block out the cold. It hadn't been that she didn't want to spend her time at a party. It was just that there were certain possible guests she thought would most likely attend as well - certain guests she didn't want to run into. So, quite reluctantly, she made her way towards the listed destination, hands in her pockets with one gripping the address her parents had written her.
Once she'd arrived at the ball, and into the main room, all slight expectations of a fancy setting had been shattered, to be replaced with a scene recalling something much more familiar. She'd been to parties with similar decorations and activities, and a similar feel to them. She had imagined this particular event to have been less simple, more elegant, despite the casual dress code. People all had their predictions on how extravagant the ball would be, from what she happened to hear that regarded the topic. But the term "Ball" used in the title had made it seem like it'd appear to be something fit for mainly nobles to attend, even if invitations had been sent out to citizens of all ranks. You know, a label to such a local party could really affect and stir up the gossip that blew through such a curious crowd.
However unexpected the look of the party had been to her, Riko liked it. It was better than showing up to something with such an unfamiliar atmosphere. Specifically that of a much fancier ball. She never much appreciated nobles and those of royalty, especially the ones who acted as if their rank automatically made them better than anyone else that had lower status. In some cases, it was pretty much true, but sometimes there were stuckup spoiled brats who would come along and, without hesitation or really getting to know the person, would quickly state through attitude that they were greater than the other. Riko wished she could fully relate to said situation, so she would be able to honestly say that a certain straight-forward, name-forgetting, emotionless jerk was wrong to look down on her. But that man, to whom she had been marked as "Monkey", he hadn't been completely unreasonable with his claims of her being a failure - however, she did feel he exaggerated it just a bit.
Riko halted a few steps into the room and propped both hands onto her hips and began to glance around the room. The room had been a decent size for a great amount of company, though a fraction of the space had been taken up by stacks of hay and tables containing snacks and drinks. Guests were scattered among the area, with more filtering through the entrance past her. Not minding their path and how she may have been in their way, she stood with her green eyes scanning the room, and a cute ponytail her mother had forced her to execute had been the only thing of her outfit that she hadn't normally worn casually. She'd take it down, but her mother had already wasted effort into setting it up, and as much as she normally didn't care about such a thing,... she kinda thought that it looked pretty~.
For a moment she paused, dropping her eyes to the floor. Riko knew that if she searched around too much, the people whom she had not wanted to see, she would see. She convinced herself that if she averted from spotting them, her stress would quickly disappear. Then she'd be able to at least make it through until the end of the night without causing a scene out of frustration, which was normally what these certain people brought her. After living for such a long time - a couple centuries or so, despite her young appearance and being half-human - she'd only come up with this solution. Rather than not going, or at least hiding, she had to have made up excuses and attended anyway. The 'genius' half-witch had to result into going into ninja mode, since she was just so stubborn, and couldn't relax for just one night.
Riko stepped away from the doorway to the side, and slowly brought her head up. Her eyes did nothing but look stiffly ahead as she pulled her arms up into a folded position, which she had done quite often. The sharp look returned to her green orbs which had previously looked a bit distracted, and soon enough her usual fierce or displeased look had been posed as it had been shown every day.
wish you'd just freak out. TAGS: Livia and Vy~ with Tuesday and Tsukuyomi. <3 WORDS: 922 |D NOTES: Well yeah. I didn't want my Riko to interrupt just yet. 8(

[bg=black][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] As if her name was a magical word, Tuesday had slowly came back into his view. Her eyes puffy from the tears that were threatening to fall. Tsukuyomi though had merely stared at her. She, who possessed such capability to show sadness, so contrasting to his own golden orbs that showed nothing to the world. He wasn't even sure if he did feel anything. He had left the past behind or at least physically, burn every painting they had together, every books she had ever given him, well save for one, and burn every letters they had written to each other to talk about how much time has flew by since they had last saw each other. Not that he had ever loved her, he didn't believe in such things, love was nothing more than what belongs in fairy tales. His parents who had supposedly love each other divorced and their marriage had been a willing one. The one he had with her though, was not. No, it was arranged, not that he had ever cared that much. He had merely followed along and met her. Even though they had spent a lot of time together he never saw her as anything more than an associate or maybe she was a friend. He did feel close to her and he was able to hug her unlike most people back then.
If he had been the younger version of himself, the one who had openly protect people and show emotions even if it was just through his eyes and small actions he would had wiped her tears. He would had gently wrap and arm around her and pull her towards him protecting her from the world and letting her cry in public without it being a sign of weakness. Then again that was the problem, he wasn't his younger self. Time had changed him like it has change everyone else. He had done his best to move on and hid the fact that he had killed her which wasn't hard to do. Even though he was only a noble and she was a princess, he had been suspected but was able to get away by lying and making up and alibi. It really wasn't that hard to do and he had killed the witnesses, namely the one guard and one of her friends. Meanwhile the rest of the kingdom had thought that he had loved her due to how he had protected her and kept a close eye on her to make sure that she didn't get into trouble. The truth was though, he didn't do it of his own will but rather out of obligation.
"Tsukuyomi," She had called back to him but her voice sounded much more sad than his or maybe scared? He was sure that it was a mix of the two. Sad that he was still alive after what he had done to her and maybe scared of what he would do to her now. There was a reason why warlocks were known to stay in dark placed despite the fact that they were good pharmacist, they can hurt the dead. After all exorcism was a form of magic and he was rather talented at that like many things. Oh how she must really despised the fact that he was right in front of her right now, how she must want to kill him. If she wanted to, she could attack him right now and get away with it being a ghost she could vanish but then again it would cause her problems once she had moved on. Was that what's stopping her right now or the fear that he would have a good excuse to fight back?
"You shouldn't cry." he lightly chided her not casting any spells or moving his hands to form any symbols. No, he merely stood there and spoke those words. If he remembered right, as he had tried many methods to forget about her, she always loved to go to parties. Those were the times where she could go out and do whatever she wanted, meet new people and have some fun. He would remember watching her smiling and sometimes pulling him over to meet her friends who he would usually greet and then stay silent unless spoken too. Really, she had done most of the talking for them with how outgoing she was. "You don't want people to worry about you correct? Also I thought you were quite fond of parties." he continued.
Soon from the corner of his eyes he had sensed someone he knew. His head slowly moved away from the ghost and stared at the Monkey. He was a bit surprised that he had tilted his head. What was she doing here? Tsukuyomi never really expected her to be here. Sure pretty much everyone was invited...apparently ghosts as well, but he didn't expect her to come. Was she here for free food? He never knew much about her family so maybe they were too poor and she had taken advantage of it? No, she could easily get her food at the school so she didn't have to come so what was she doing here then? The male decided to merely ignore her though, he had more urgent matters to deal with even if said matter was a past he had left behind...or at least rarely look back to. "If you're here to kill me I would recommend that you do it in a more conspicuous location." he suggested his eyes still cold. It wasn't that he wanted to die...well he wasn't sure. If he died there was no one to take care of Susanoo but then again at least Amaterasu won't get hurt. It was quite obvious that he was not going to beg for his life nor would he apologize for what he has done. Shouldn't cry? shouldn't cry!? Her murderer was standing here right in front of her. He was just lucky she wasn't trying to put him through hell right now. Tuesday felt insulted and at the same time hurt that he could probably relate to her pain but didn't even try. It wasn't like he could completely understand what it was like to be dead but that wasn't much of an emotion. The emotions that mixed inside her was fear, loneliness, sorrow, anger, and much more. She had gone through so much when she died and then when it finally happened and she was killed. Nothing. That's what she was really upset about. The nothing part. Nobody did anything to put her to rest. They just ignored her. She is a princess, she was going to get married. However Tsukuyomi had a different plan. He was never caught and nobody ever tried to solve her murder. She didn't push because she wanted someone who loved her to push for her. It wasn't like she was alive to speak up and tell them to solve her murder.
"Why would they be concerned? Nobody's opened my door since the day you killed me,"
she responded blankly still attempting to hold the tears back. 'Nobody cared enough to even try to get someone to open it so that they can solve my murder.' She couldn't believe this. No matter how hard she tried to push these emotions away and just scream and yell she couldn't. She wanted to hit him, she wouldn't to hurt him, and she wanted to make him suffer. However it's not like she was physically disabled. She just didn't want too. she didn't know why. She hadn't seen him since the day he murdered her forty years ago. Here he was, right in front of her. Ready for her to attack yet she just stood there. Why did she still care about him? She never truly could recognize these feeling toward him. Did she like him as a friend or more then that? Perhaps she always felt weird around him? Whatever it was she liked him yet hated him at the same time. She wished it wasn't possible. She just wished that she could completely hate him. That was impossible though. For her it usually was one sided--black and white. You hate him or you don't. But with Tsukuyomi that changed a little. Everything that she tried to get answerers from--her heart, her gut, her head--they all said the same thing. 'I just don't know,' she thought. Again, she was just standing there--motionless. The princess stood as if she wasn't going to move. Kill him? She wasn't sure if she had the capability of doing so. She finally covered her eyes and dropped down sitting on top of a bail of hay. "I want someone else to bring you to justice!" she yelled. "I want someone to care enough to find you themselves." She rubbed her eyes a few times and turned away from him not caring what he would do at all. She just was ready to push this all behind her and start the night over again rather then just sit here in tears all night. [/blockquote]

slam, slam, oh hot damn. what part of 'party' dontcha understand? Even though Riko had been so confident with restricting what she saw, her eyes easily wandered off when a certain silver-haired male lingered in the corner of her eye. Tsukuyomi was standing by a table that had presented a supply of water, along with a few simple decorations to match the theme of the occasion. He seemed to have been speaking with a girl she hadn't known. It hadn't really concerned her, and she just assumed she had been a friend or acquaintance of his. But what was it about the girl's state that made Tsukuyomi's prescence a bit more irking? She had been crying. But why was she crying? Did he..?
Damnit! Riko thought and quickly darted her eyes away again. A look of displeasure had formed on her face. That idiot! Making girls cry at a party like this.. Who does he think he is? Fists were clenched at her side by now, and she had almost considered going over there herself and telling him off. But what would that really do? She had tried doing the same thing a few times before, and nothing had come out of it but a pointless argument and the biggest headache. She'd rather not even attempt to say a word to him. But everytime he had made a single comment regarding her failures at magic and poor grades, she swore she could almost strangle him with the amount of harsh things she wanted to say back to that blank, bored face of his.
After contemplating whether or not she should just go over there and scold him for her assumption that he made the girl cry, she realized.. how thirsty she was. It had been a bit of a long walk to get here, and she hadn't really.. drank anything beforehand. It had to be now where she should realize such a thing? She sighed and seached the room for any other supplied beverages, aside from the water where Tsukuyomi and his friend had stood. Riko would be foolish to retrieve a drink there, since it would only offer him a chance to insult her like every day.
There had been a few tables scattered among the room here and there, but the crowd and distance she would have to push through would be a drag. But it's not like that matters! she thought to herself and continued looking. Then Riko stopped for a moment. Am I really that cautious of him that I would avoid him to such an extent?... She blinked. This was rediculous.. No one controlled what she chose to drink and where she chose to go. That was what she decided.
But, despite this, rather than walking over there for fear that Tsukuyomi - or his friend if she were to be at all similar to him - would only halt her by saying many of his famously blunt remarks, Riko instead reached downward toward her shoe. Hidden by her pantleg and poking up from her shoe was normally where her wand had been kept, with which she always performed spells. If I'm as capable as I say, I should be able to just levitate a glass of water over to me myself! she told herself as she brought the wand up with one hand. Hey genius - ever think of doing the same to any of the other beverages in the room, then?
Riko twirled the wand within her fingers - a little habit of hers that she would do before casting a spell. Muttering words beneath her breath to summon the magic, she directed the tip of the wand at the table at the side of the room, yet trying to make the movement as subtle as she could. This would have worked perfectly, and in fact her entire life would have been much easier and stress-free if only she wasn't noramlly such a failure at magic. Most of her spells and attempts always ended in an explosion, so often that she sometimes would purposely use it to silence those who pissed her off and annoyed her. Explosions caused by her were so common, and many people expected it whenever she was around. But even though this was clear, she acted as if she was completely unaware.. like she didn't know how bad she really was.
Riko heard a Zzzap! sound shooting from the tip of her instrument, and she instantly looked over. "U-uh..!" Bam. Smoke formed and spread across the gap between her and the table, as well as all around the table. All of the guests that surrounded the scene looked over, and only few seemed too surprised. Riko narrowed her eyes, slowly lowering the wand to her side and calmly began stepping through the smoke, while coughing a couple of times and fanning the smoke away. As if nothing had happened, she stopped at the table and snatched up an already prepared cup of water and roughly took a sip. Riko wouldn't dare look over at the two who still stood there. There was nothing to expect but a teary-eyed look of slight surprise and then that cursed blank stare.
wish you'd just freak out. TAGS: Tuesday and Tsukuyomi WORDS: 858 NOTES: Yay for rambling~. Riko, you're so... .___.
