*I'll watch the night turn light-blue But it's not the same without you~ Pour me a heavy dose of A T M O S P H E R E* Smoking... It's not a good habit, bad for your health. But Raiden didn't really care, it took the stress of his back. Night was just starting to come alive; lights going out, everyone closing their windows and locking the doors, and the dark creatures coming out to play. A candle light flickered, threatening to go out as the black haired raven walked by. One hand clipped a cigarette to his mouth and his other kept warm in his pocket. It was starting to get cold, the chilled air sweeping through the streets now that the sun was gone. His footsteps were soft and silent as he continued down the road, smoke lifted to the night sky every time he took the cigarette off his lips. His name was Raiden, Raiden Eiji Ryuu, he has black hair that spikes up in the back and eyes that seem to be empty. His eyes stared up at the dark abyss, looking at the waking stars. He took the cigarette from his mouth, breathed out and watched the smoke lift into the abyss.
He flinched, his cigarette fell to the ground and he turned his head to look. Between his index and middle fingers was a new red burn mark, (the bud had gotten to small to hold); he shrugged it off, there was no reason to whine about a simple burn. Raiden dug into his pocket, pulling out a cigarette pack, opened it and took out a new one. He clamped it between his lips and searched himself for a match to light, he soon found one and in a minute or so, the raven was walking down the sidewalk again. He walked slowly, there was noone waiting for him at home, he was alone... Ever since he was six months old, he had been alone. At six months, his parents perished in a fire, and after, he was given to the neighbor. His adopted mother cared for him; at the age of ten, he had started smoking and soon ran away because of the god damn stress. He ended up here and lived on the streets before a while before finding a small empty apartment to take shelter in. Raiden had no friends, no relatives, noone. And he still doesn't know anyone, except for the names of his classmates.
He sighed, smoking another bud, walking slowly; from the corner of his eye, he saw a black, gray, and white cat meow and follow him out of an alley. His mouth clamped the cigarette and hands in his pocket, he bent down without letting his knees touch the ground. One hand slithered out of his pocket and reached out to the cat, it walked to him, sniffed his fingers before proceeding to walk forward pushing against his hand. Raiden exhaled smoke and continued to pet the cat. It mewed, purring when it wasn't, and he stood, starting to walk away. The cat followed, mewing constantly. He stopped and it went between his legs, rubbing against them. "What?" Raiden bent down, picking up the cat and carrying him while petting his head. It purred in his arms and let his tail hang, flicking and twitching to one side to another. It wasn't long before he had reached his deserted home, he sighed again before bending over and letting the cat go, it stood there, looking at him, they looked at each other for a while before it ran away.
He looked at his house, he didn't have a curfew so he just turned on one foot and trailed down the sidewalk. He looked up at the night sky, looking at the gleaming stars. They sure were beautiful... He looked straight ahead and walked, grabbing the bud from his mouth and throwing it to the ground. He continued walking into the dark streets. The lights flickered calmly, the flame small but so bright, just like the stars. It was a chilly night, and he was just starting to notice it. He had a long sleeve shirt with a white short sleeved shirt with a design on it over the black shirt, then just some black jeans and shoes. He wasn't a very style crazy guy, he just dressed in clothes that he liked. The shirts were short at the neck so you could see his tattoo. He had gotten it like... three years ago or so and it was placed on his left side of his back, between the shoulder and neck. It was three large dots with a curve and some a circle of markings around. It was an interesting tattoo, he liked it, it showed everyone how proud he was, in a way he could only understand. He ignored the chill air, kept his hands in his pockets and continued down the deserted road.

Zsuzsi wore a long white dress with comfortable shoes underneath. She had her haired curled and neatly placed in the correct place. She wore a long lavender colored cloak with the hood over her head hiding the little flower in her hair. She was on the ground though with someone laying on her lap. She didn't mind that their blood was slowly seeping out all over the cement a nd on on her nice clothes. She stared deeply into their eyes determining the situation. His friend hovered over her with a worried expression on her face. "will he be okay?" she asked in a whisper. You could tell how upset she was by the tears in her sky blue eyes. "Ohhh I don't know what I'd do without him." Zsuzsi didn't reply running a hand over the gash in his side. It was one of the more serious injuries he had. Below her hand was a baby blue glowing light. As soon as it appeared and lit the darkness it was gone. All that was left of the wound was the blood spatters and part of the torn shirt. The woman gawked at Zsuzsi for a moment but the healer didn't seem to notice.
Zsuzsi went to one of the more minor stab wounds and waved her hand over it slowly letting the light do it's job. The man started to look a little more lively rather then the terrible state he was in only moments ago. "Almost done,"
she whispered waving her hand over the last wound. Just like that the man seemed to have a short burst of energy and stat up on his own. Zsuzsi slowly backed up offering out a hand for him to lean on in case he needed it. The woman threw her arms around his shoulders sobbing. He must have been very close to her. Zsuzsi watched as the two talked for a few seconds offering some money. Zsuzsi hesitated but then shook her head. She did need the money but liked to heal people as a Charity. She would just have to make money a different way. After a few minutes of talking Zsuzsi said her goodbye and turned around wrapping her blood stained cloak tighter around her. It was cold, but she shouldn't walk around in this thing. People would get the wrong message. She slowly took it off and folded it up placing it in her bag. The sleeves on her dress were a little short giving her goose bumps on her arms. Although her shoes were cute and comfortable at the same time her feet still hurt from all the traveling. 'I need to find somewhere safe to stay for the night,' she thought to herself. She wasn't tired but it couldn't be safe, despite what she did for people, to walk around alone on the streets. After a few moments of walking she gazed over her shoulder for a brief moment. As soon as she looked forward she realized she was only inches away from bumping into someone's back. She let out a gasp and took a step back. "Oh, I'm sorry," she quickly apologized. "I wasn't looking where I was going." [/blockquote]

*I'll watch the night turn light-blue But it's not the same without you~ Pour me a heavy dose of A T M O S P H E R E* The chilled air, the quiet night, it was the perfect setting. you couldn't hear anything but the common night time sounds. His eyes stayed glued to the abyss above him, amazed by the stars and blackness, it was beautiful, he loved it; the burning sensation on his index and middle fingers still tingled. He twitched his two fingers in his pocket and kept looking up. His apartment was small, a kitchen, a living area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, it was nice, somewhere where he could stay. He only used one room so the other was completely empty; in his room was a bed, a dresser and a book shelf filled with well books.
Raiden closed his eyes and sighed, letting himself relax just a bit before the stress coming back. It was only a few minutes before he could feel someone push or bump into him. He stumbled forward just a bit but caught himself, straightened himself and turned to look who had accidently bumped into him. 'Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going.' The young girl apologized rather fast but he just accepted it and moved on. "It's okay," he replied, nodding before noticing her bag and the red soon to be stains on her dress. "What happened with you?" He asked, reaching a hand out and point to the what seemed to look like blood. He didn't really mind anything as long as he didn't get murdered or hurt, especially by a woman.

Zsuzsi smiled at him glad he didn't over react and jump to conclusions labeling her as some idiot who couldn't tell where her head should be. "I'm Zsuzsi,"
she introduced herself offering a hand (the one that wasn't covered in blood). She opened her mouth to ask him what his name was but then he pointed the blood out on her dress. She lowered her hand a little looking down realizing it wasn't just on her cloak but on her dress too. 'aah! this is a nice one too!' she thought to herself. "I'm a healer," she explained rubbing her hand on her dress deciding it was too late to save anyways. "Someone had gotten hurt so I helped them. I guess blood is just part of the job," she laughed. It was an awkward laugh and she felt kind of bad for laughing. She felt like blood was no laughing matter but sometimes a sense of humor was required if you saw so much terrible things happen. "Maybe I shouldn't have worn my nice dress," she thought out loud staring down. "I don't know how he got hurt, but the good thing is he survived." she added smiling up at him. She already felt like she was babbling as if she knew him. She hoped that he didn't mind much. It could be difficult for her to interact causing her to be a bit nervous and makes her babble on about one thing for a lot. "Anyways, what's your name?" she asked happily. *I'll watch the night turn light-blue But it's not the same without you~ Pour me a heavy dose of A T M O S P H E R E* They stood like that for a while, she had begun talking, 'I'm Zsuzsi,' she introduced herself pretty fast. It was a nice name at least not crazy like some of the ones he had heard of. She looked down when he pointed out the blood. She seemed like she didn't really realize it until he said anything. 'I'm a healer,' she explained, 'Someone had gotten hurt so I helped them. I guess blood is just part of the job,' Raiden nodded, understanding, blood was always somewhere in everyone's job or what they did, him though, the only blood was when the dissected animals in class but they were pretty much cleaned out. 'Maybe I shouldn't have worn my nice dress,' He would have chuckled if she had laughed too, but he just held it in, not wanting to be anyway rude (even though he usually was). 'I don't know how he got hurt, but the good thing is he survived.' She smiled up at him, he gave a small smile back. 'Anyways, what's your name?' She asked, pushing the subject aside.
"Raiden," he answered, his hands stuffed in his pockets and his head turned to look at Zsuzsi. "Sooo.... should you be home by now? It's not safe walking at night," He asked, he didn't like when others walked at night; he had no reasons really, he just didn't really like it.

Zsuzsi felt awkward since she seemed to be babbling away and he seemed to either be quiet or talking the right ammount. I mean, how much should you talk to someone that you've just met? You shouldn't try to fit everything into a few sentences. Maybe calming down and speaking at a normal pace would be a lot better. However this was just how Zsuzsi could be. Perhaps it was a little dangerous though. Zsuzsi always felt like she had an advantage or excuse to get on people's good sides since she'd be a good friend to have. Especially since she helped out both sides. The light considered her a traitor and the dark folk didn't seem to mind. Some got suspicious because of her beliefs but overall they didn't seem to mind. "It's nice to meet you Raiden,"
she said happily. Home? Zsuzsi didn't live on this side of Forestille. "I travel," she explained. "I'm nowhere near home." Zsuzsi had several reasons why she worked away from home so much. Mostly because she didn't have many friends at home. She graduated early so that she could do this as well. After a while the reasons got more and more complicated but she never decided to go too deep into detail if she already knew why she travled. Not everyone needed to know every little detail of her feelings and emotions. "Yeah, I should at least bring a little protection when I travel. But It would be suspicious. I want people to see me as someone who is willing to help and has the ability to help." That is why she was so careless. If she brought a weapon then people wouldn't trust her so much. So she simply travled alone hoping people would seek for her help rather then looking to harm her. [/blockquote]

*I'll watch the night turn light-blue But it's not the same without you~ Pour me a heavy dose of A T M O S P H E R E* 'It's nice to meet you Raiden,' She told him, he nodded, "It's nice meeting you too, Zsuzsi." He replied, nodding his head and giving a small smile. 'I travel' Ah, so that's why she wasn't home. He nodded, showing that he was listening. 'I'm nowhere near home.' Raiden loved to listen, never talk, he could listen all day and not even peep one word. He looked at her, the dim lighting was bothering him but he would survive. "I see," He replied, seeing the reason why she was out so late and why she wasn't home already. 'Yeah, I should at least bring a little protection when I travel. But It would be suspicious. I want people to see me as someone who is willing to help and has the ability to help.' He smiled at that, it was good that she helped people, especially humans, humans didn't live as long as non humans. "You should at least carry something like.... a small pocket knife, you could always use it if someone attacks you and if you need it when healing people." He gave his opinion, a pocket knife wouldn't hurt or rarely kill anyone, but it would at least work.
