Tuesday stared down the hall dancing along. Today she felt...not so happy. A lot of things had happened last night leading to Tuesday being tired and a little mad. Two girls walked into the castle and they weren't supposed to be there. They had gotten to a certain room that had some significance to Tuesday. Luckily it was locked (like it always has been) and they didn't get in. But they just made it worse when they walked into a garden just at the base of the castle. They had gotten to her favorite spot and picked pieces of her favorite flower off of the little plant. This angered her too. But as soon as it started raining the girls seeked the shelter of the castle. That's when Tuesday locked the door behind them and began her 'job' as the ghost of the central palace.
The ghost screamed and created little illusions of the past to scare them. They were scared but not as scared as she hoped. So naturally Tuesday got upset and had created a lot of noise throwing things around. A few people in the castle woke up to find out what happened. The girls got a way though. That was probably the most scary part of the night for them. Almost getting caught.
Tuesday knew she wasn't scary enough. So sometimes she used illusions of the past to bring out people's fears. The problem with that is when she used the really scary stuff she would become scared a nd upset herself and soon she'd be hiding too. So she used small things that she witnessed as a child from before she was murdered. She let out a sigh and kicked the wall. "I'm sad,"
she said to the wall as if it would respond. Sometimes she got extremely lonely since most couldn't see her. So she had to improvise by talking to the wall, herself, or other objects rather then people because it took quite a lot of energy to appear for some people and Tuesday usually waisted her energy at night. "I bet they wont come back though. Did you see them run when people started to come out?" She stared at the wall but then sighed and turned around. 'Fine, give me the cold shoulder! I'll show you how it feels.' Tuesday looked to entertain herself. Talking to a wall got boring after two seconds. For a moment she stood there motionless and then heard someone around the corner. She immediately perked up but with that consistent feeling of loneliness constantly striking her along with the anger of someone picking her favorite flowers. She tip-toed over and looked around the corner. "Princess is here~" she called trying to hide that upset tone in her voice but not doing so well. [/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][bg=black][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellpadding,15,true] It was early in the morning, far too early to wake up and Zephyr had been on his bed trying to go back to sleep. The only ones who weren't asleep were either the workers or insomniacs. The male himself fell in the later category. It was one of those rare times where he couldn't sleep and it bothered him, especially because he knew that if he didn't get the right amount of sleep, then he might faint the next day or sleep in. He couldn't sleep at night either. Yet the afternoon was going to be a busy day for him so he needed his sleep. He turned his body to face the window and looked at the rain that continued to hit against the window with light pounding. Silently he counted them even though he was sure that missed some. It was impossible to count each and every single drop. Still he counted what he can in an attempt to get him to sleep. Too bad he was bothered by the girls who were staying in the castle.
It wasn't that he hated those girls. The male hasn't even seen them yet but he has heard from the staff of the castle. Apparently two girls had went into the castle looking for shelter and they were let in. Of course, it was something that was to be expected. After all Zephyr himself had even taken a girl home and took her in as a servant. They were only to stay until the next day where the rain would hopefully end. From the looks of the sky though chances are it wasn't. Usually he would be rather ecstatic because even though it meant that it would be harder for him to go outside, he didn't really like to go sit in some chair and listen to politicians talk. After all some of them would want to trick him or not even try to hear his opinion. At times he questioned why they were even talking to him but of course he would never say that. Yet at the moment he was trying to will the rain to stop, as if that was even possible though. So why did he wanted the storm to stop even though it would benefit him more than obstinate. Yet there was one small problem with the storm and that related with the girls. Again not that he hated them nor did he mind sharing the castle. It was just that out of all the rooms his parents could had given them did it have to be that room.
The prince can remember what the maids had told him. The two girls were staying in a room of one of his father's relative. The one that he had seen in a couple of family portraits and has even met even if it was her spirit. Yes, the ghost he had in mind in particular was Tuesday. A ghost that he has known even since he was a small kid. Unlike most he was gifted with the ability to see spirits, perhaps it was a trade off for the weak body? He didn't know, all he knew was that he had the ability to. So he would see her as a kid and even talk to her. He didn't know who she was and when he had told his parents they thought it was an 'imaginary friend'. When he had seen her in old portraits he had been rather stunned and was able to put two and two together. Since then he has tried to get her spirit to move on. After all this world where she died in didn't deserve her. He never liked this world too much either himself.
The silver hair male soon heard a small scream that echoed the halls. It didn't even take him a second to figure out who it was. It seems that Tuesday has known, that wasn't good. Zephyr knew that he was suppose to be in bed or else Ai would kill him but this was an emergency. He needed to calm the spirit down or maybe he could just give his room to the girls. Prince always did get better rooms than princesses due to the political power scale. He wouldn't mind losing his room either since that gives him an excuse to go bother Ai which is something that he considered to be a hobby. So that would solve the problem but soon as he walked he heard more screams. When he had came to the main room he saw the girls open the door and ran out into the rain. From the corner of his eyes he saw some of the staff members walk out questioning what was going on as well.
The shape-shifter though didn't ,he knew perfectly well what was going on. His smile still on his face he saw one of the butlers give him a worried look. "Oh don't worry about me. I'm just going to go see what made them scream." he chirped give out a small wave. He turned around not even waiting to hear a reply. He was sure he can guess what it was already anyway, something along the line of ' don't go young master' or 'let Ai look into this'. They were way too cautious about him. Then again he didn't blame them, rather he blamed the body that was born with.
Zephyr soon walked to the corridor of where the girls were supposed to say and lo and behold, right in front of him was the green haired banshee. "Princess is here~" she had called out trying to mask her tone. Yet the silver hair male can see right through it but that might had been because he had spent years developing on the technique. "Is something wrong Tuesday?' he chided as if she was a kid. Despite the fact that she was technically his aunt he never called her aunt or even treat her like one. Instead she was more like a little sister to him.

Tuesday stared for a moment recognizing Zephyr's She straightened up and hopped over to him. "The girls left, right?"
she asked. "They weren't supposed to be here," she said frowning. He asked what was wrong and she thought deeply about it. "They picked my flowers!" she complained. She was obviously upset by that but it didn't cover what she was completely upset about. She bit her lip once and just stared at him. After deciding that her nephew was too smart to think that was the only reason why she was upset she began to speak again. "They aren't allowed to be in my room. Nobody's ever been in there to investigate my murder and they tried to let those girls in! Can you believe that?!" she stomped her foot once and then crossed her arms. "Nobody's supposed to be in there." her voice was a little lighter now. She kind of felt bad for scaring the girls off. Most didn't accept her because she scared people. At first she said s he didn't care but then she got quite lonely. So scaring people off made her kind of sad. However the girls that stayed at the castle actually made her mad and scared since they actually tried to go in there. She hoped that they didn't see the terrible scene that nobody seemed to have cleaned up after she died. Who would honestly lock away a murder scene and leave it be? Wouldn't they ever think of Tuesday? What if that kept her behind? Tuesday knew very well why she was still here and it wasn't directly because of the murder scene. It was a lot deeper then that. "Nobody should be allowed in there," she said still frowning. "I may be dead but I'm still a princess." She was beginning to think out loud. "It's early," she said looking up at him. "Did you come out here to see me?" She was obviously trying to push this whole reason behind tonight in the back of her head so that nobody would ask questions. She didn't like questions. Especially about reasoning. She did what she did because they were in her room. If she were alive she wouldn't mind sharing but the only people she wanted in there is the people who would try and solve her murder. There were reasons why her bedroom had been locked up a nd she just desperately, desperately hoped those girls didn't see anything that they weren't meant to see. [/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][bg=black][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellpadding,15,true] When her eyes met his, Tuesday had hopped over to the prince. he can tell that she didn't bother materializing as he can slightly see through her as if she was soft fabric. "The girls left, right?" She had asked them making sure that her objective was completed. "They weren't supposed to be here," She stated her voice rather dark. He stood there though and didn't say anything. He merely nodded at what she had to say not judging her. How could he really? She was a family member it was impossible for him to judge her. He didn't ask why she had done it either. There was no reason for him to since he could guess what it was already despite the fact that he didn't inquire it. Despite how he might look with the constant smile or the constant childish aura he would give off at times, he can be bright or at least smart enough to figure it out anyway. It didn't really take a scholar to figure it out. "They picked my flowers!" Already he can see through her lie but decided not to make any comment about it. Hopefully she didn't look down on him as well. If so then he would be rather hurt because that would mean that all of his family looked down on him. Well it wouldn't exactly be something he wasn't used to but still. He knew that she wasn't mad at the fact that the flower was plucked. Well maybe that was one of the reasons but it certainly was not the main one. Tuesday was many things, mischievous, childish, and at times hard to handle but she certainly was not petty. Sure no one liked to have their stuff touched but to scare them away from the castle because of it? The male couldn't see her doing that at all and he would like to think that he knew her well from the time they have spent together.
It seems that she soon realized that he can see right through her and decided to tell the truth. "They aren't allowed to be in my room. Nobody's ever been in there to investigate my murder and they tried to let those girls in! Can you believe that?!" It was true that the room was locked. Zephyr can remember how he had tried to sneak into it as a young kid because he had been curious since he wanted to know what made her stay. Yet no matter how many tactics her tried of picking locks or getting a knife and trying to open it by sliding it up and down the small gap at the side, it would never open. Of course if he wanted to try a rather inconspicuous method he could have just cut a big home in the door but then it would be obvious that someone had entered and everyone would panic. As a young child he knew it was not a wise choice and had soon given up on it and looked towards other methods. At first he had been surprised that they had even given the room to the girls but perhaps the one that did it was new to the castle and did not know?
"Now now at least they didn't get in right?' he chided her trying to cheer her up. So the room was safe, he doubt anyone would really get in there anyway. The only problem was the flower but it was a minor problem with an easy solution. They would just replace it with the same kind. Sure it would take a while to bloom once again but at least it will bloom right? Being a ghost gave the girl lots of time to wait anyway. "I may be dead but I'm still a princess." At her words he had chuckled. Really, if he was to die the last thing he would want is to still be considered a prince but it was obvious that the girl didn't have the same thoughts as him. Rather she seemed to be fond of her little title that he found it kind of cute. "Then I don't think a princess should stay mad if the problem is solved." he teased slightly poking her at the cheek. Yeah, he really didn't treat her like an aunt alright but he kind of liked it. Besides, it would be weird to call a girl who looked younger than auntie. The thought kind of made him shiver a bit actually. He can only imagine how his bodyguard would react if she was to see him call her that. Of course as a young kid he had called her that but as he grew up it simply got to strange. Especially with how his voice seems so laid back that at times, to him it sounded like he was calling her old.
"It's early," She had commented him and it was true. The prince nodded looking out seeing that the sun has yet to rise but yet the sky wasn't pitch black anymore. "Did you come out here to see me?" she asked him. Zephyr knew that she was changing the subject but he went along with it anyway. "Yep. I couldn't sleep and I thought you would want some company." he shrugged off so ever lightly. He wasn't really sure what else to say but that. Well at least he knew what not to say.
The male sat down leaning against the wall. "Besides I'm sure it must be boring talking to no one." he added. It wasn't that he knew she talked to object. The shape-shifter merely speculated as she seems to only materialize during the night like those ghost stories. Then again he prefer her to materialize in the night, then when he saw her under the pale moon light she almost looked like an angel. "Or if you want we could play a game. What should we play though? Tag? Hide-and-seek? Or would you like to tend to the garden for a bit before there are too many people?" he asked. Usually the residents of the castle would come out to the garden during the day and having objects float wouldn't exactly look so good.

Zephyr was right. There really wasn't anything to make a big deal over. She figured she was just scared someone would be able to get into her room. It wasn't that she didn't want someone to solve her murder but when someone did solve her murder she wanted them to try hard. Not just walk in because the door was locked. However when Tuesday was ready, she just might someday show someone her room if she cared about them. Zephyr she would defiantly show. The thing was though Tuesday never opened up about her murder...never talked about it or anything. So she felt as if the time would never come. Eventually though she would show him. However she would only show him when she realized that he wants to see it not because of curiosity but because he really wants to find out what happened. It's not like she had much control over that but she was probably the only one who could get in without a key. It would be easy to open from the inside.
She pushed the thoughts back away. She was glad she was now calming down. She didn't feel sad or lonely anymore and certainly not scared. Zephyr certainly had a way with calming people down. Perhaps he learned how to do this from another family member? Maybe it was hereditary? Whatever it was he didn't get it from her. Tuesday didn't have a good way with words. She was a lot more demanding when she wanted someone to do something. Zephyr seemed to get people to do things with a smile on their face rather then an annoyed glare.
A game? Tuesday loved games in the first place. Playing them with someone who couldn't see you could be one of two things...boring or funny. Boring because sometimes they just do nothing and funny because of the looks on their faces. She pondered the choices he offered. She didn't exactly want to go outside...'Is it still raining? If it is he'll get sick. We can't do that.'
Tag was fun, but she could walk through walls and was very used to it. So she could unconsciously walk through a wall into a locked room that he would have to go around to the door to get too. Hide and seek was always fun though. Especially since Zephyr could see her. This way she wouldn't be able to win so easily. "Let's play hide and seek~" she said with a smile. "Or we can go and read or something~ we could take out some books. I know this one part of the castle they hide all the old books! Maybe we could do both?" she smiled up at him. "Or we could...uhh...when it stops raining we can go somewhere maybe? If the sun is out it'll be a little strange since I haven't seen the daylight in a while but I'll go somewhere if you do too." She hoped that he wouldn't have to go and do something as soon as the sun came up. She would get really lonely. But if he did have to go do something, and if it were in the castle she'd probably follow him and stay quiet until the job was done. [/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][bg=black][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellpadding,15,true] Zephyr watched her try to consider what to do for a moment. He saw her glance outside to see that it was still raining. It looks like the storm was going to be here for a while so he should be safe. "Let's play hide and seek~" She stated. Hide and seek, that shouldn't be too hard. Well except that it would look weird for the prince to be hiding but he was sure that it didn't matter. He hid a lot of times before anyway, namely from Ai so they wouldn't think much of it. Chances are they would just ignore him and go do their own little work, well maybe they would stare at him for a bit but it won't be too long. Yeah, that sounded like a good idea, a lot better than hide and seek where he would surely lose with his weak body. There was also the fact that chasing around a ghost was hard to do without looking mentally disabled but looking for one, that was a lot easier since he could just walk normally and take a few glances.
It was good to see that the two girls were no longer on her mind. For all that the male cared, they never came here in the first place. After all just like how he couldn't hate them he didn't exactly like them for the exact same reason. They were like a small rock on the road, easily forgotten. Well maybe he would run into them on the streets but he doubt they would come up to him. The only real problem is that he was sure that there were going to be rumors of a ghost haunting the castle. It's a good thing that he won't have to deal with it but he surely did feel sorry for his father who does. One day though, he might have to deal with it himself. Great, another reason why he would not want to be a king when he grows up. If only he wasn't the first born son, then he wouldn't have to bother with such things. Oh well, he suppose maybe if he was lucky he would find some escape before his father passes away. The man still has some good time on his hands.
"Or we can go and read or something~ we could take out some books. I know this one part of the castle they hide all the old books! Maybe we could do both?" Old books? Hopefully they weren't eaten by the termites and still readable. He would like to read some old books namely because most of the new books didn't exactly have new ideas. Whenever he picked up a book, he would be able to name a few similar to it. Only once on a blue moon could he ever open a book and read it without being able to predict or compare it to other books. He pondered for a moment though. Should they do both? Split the time? Since he couldn't sleep they had more time. The only problem though was that he didn't get any sleep so he might faint during the day. Well since he was in the castle it wouldn't be too bad. Besides there was a hidden spot in the castle. Now who wouldn't want to go there and check it out? Loving the idea of adventure the shape-shifter was interested in secret passages and hidden areas.
Then came the third option. "Or we could...uhh...when it stops raining we can go somewhere maybe? If the sun is out it'll be a little strange since I haven't seen the daylight in a while but I'll go somewhere if you do too." Go somewhere? Today wasn't going to be one of those days where he was allowed to leisurely go out so they would have to sneak out. That wasn't too much of a problem. Actually they only have one real obstacle and that was Ai but if they waited for the right time he was sure that they could sneak out. It would be fun too and Tuesday could explore a bit. Since she was a princess he was sure that she wasn't allowed to go out too much. So why not? "Okay then how about this? We go read for a bit and then we go out once we get bored." he suggested combining the first two options a bit. He left out the first but that was because if they couldn't do everything. At the same time he had left the sun part out. He would go out in the rain. It's not too bad he would just need an umbrella. Besides, it would be gun to play in the rain a bit or at least watch Tuesday play anyway. Also the only way for him to be allowed to sneak out is if the rain keeps up so that the advisers can't come. With nothing for him to do, they won't keep a good eye on him.
Of course once outside he might get sick or faint but still Tuesday must have been bored here and it wasn't fair that Zephyr was able to sneak out from time to time and have fun buts he didn't right? Someone was going to have to watch over her and he wouldn't be a good nephew or prince if he couldn't handle such a small task. No, that just won't do. Part of being a prince is to be able to make others happy even at the cost of his own, something he was rather used to. Even if he was weak, he should be able to handle these kinds of things or at least hopefully he would have the ability to. "So what do you say? The castle must get pretty boring being in here all day." he stated. Oh yes, the prince knew well how dull it can get living in a rut. While many of the guest would marvel at it, to him it was something plain and mundane.

Both? That would be wonderful! Tuesday hasn't been out of the castle in about forty years. On top of that she hasn't even left the gates of the castle in even longer. Leaving would be great. A nice change in scenery would do the girl some good. Plus she got to show him where she spent a good chunk of her childhood hiding. The secret parts of the palace was a great place to hide. Especially when she found out that she had an arranged marriage and didn't want to meet the guy. People would spend hours looking for her. But only one person knew where she was and that was her brother.
Once she met her fiance though she started blooming a little. He was mysterious and kind of shady though. He kind of scared her but from what she could tell he was an okay person. However everything had to change.
Tuesday started realizing how distant she was getting. It showed all the memories in her eyes. 'whoa, I feel old. How old am I supposed to be now?'
she let out a soft sigh fifty-eight... She bit her lips for a moment and then looked back up at Zephyr "So your dad didn't show you the secret parts of the castle?" she asked. "Hm, I thought he would..." She always wondered if her death was painful for her brother. She always wanted to ask but never really could since he didn't see her. Plus it's been a really long time. He could have gotten over it. 'Sometime I will come and visit him...maybe he did miss me.' Tuesday shook her head pushing away the memories and thoughts. That's not what she should be thinking about. She didn't want to explain anything except the happy things. She didn't want to ask if her brother missed her, or explain what happened days before she got married, or explain who killed her and why. All of that was behind her and it was a new day. No more pain in memories. She wanted to get to place where she could freely speak about her past and not end up having water works for it. "It's this way," she pointed in the direction of the older side of the castle. All the older rooms were there along with her own. Not a lot of people went to that side of the castle causing parts of it to be well hidden. Nobody's been on that side for years. She began to walk along the hall. Usually she hopped places or even skipped. But this time she just walked as if she were walking into the past. Tuesday hasn't been on this side for a while, maybe a few years. But every time she went down here she'd walk in. She paused and turned around waiting for Zephyr. "I used to hide down there a lot," she said hoping to make a little small talk and even tell him about some of her own adventures that she had. "Like when my first tooth fell out, my dad's friend convinced me I was going to lose all my teeth because I did something bad. So the tooth fairy would come and take all my teeth and none would grow back." She laughed a little. "My mom hit him though. It was really funny. Except I was crying..." She took a step toward him now remembering all the happy things. "And the time a guy came on this black horse in the middle of the night. Your dad convinced me that he was the headless horseman." She thought again thinking about other times she had to come here. "Or when I broke something so My mom wanted me to help the maids clean." She was now going down a list of when she was hiding. Some she didn't told him some she did. But then she got to the bottom of the list and paused for a long moment. "And when I was told I was getting married...." She paused as soon as she said 'married' for a long moment. "But that's a story for another day." She quickly added not really being blunt about it probably sending little mixed signals but not minding much. "You can hide here too, because it's really hard to find." she smiled. "Your father would be able to find you though because when I was a kid I showed him." She turned around and walked a few steps before she paused again waiting for him. [/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][bg=black][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellpadding,15,true] Hearing no objects Zephyr had took it as a yes. Well that was good since he could go out a bit himself. Who knows maybe the rain can do him some good...somehow. Okay, chances are it won't be oh well. He wouldn't mind getting a little sick if it meant that he can accompany the girl out for a bit. Besides it was a lot better than hanging around a castle all day. As pretty and pristine the castle can be, staring at it all day can making it rather numbing and boring. "So your dad didn't show you the secret parts of the castle?" Huh? Oh, he nodded. He could guess why though. If he knew the secret parts he would hide all day whenever his father is away and no one would catch him. Yeah, it might be good judgment on his father for never telling it to him. He can only image the trouble he would cause with his disappearance where people would look all over the eastern side of Forestile only to find out that he has been in the castle the whole time. Actually that would be rather funny, he couldn't wait to do that now.
"Hm, I thought he would..." The girl had wondered as she seemed to leave something out. Well if he remember right his father had always avoided a certain side of the palace. As a little kid he would go in and at times he would talk to his father about it but he always seems to be distant that he soon learned to not bring it up. He had never bothered to ask why his father was so distant either, but he saw no reason to tell her such a sad thing. Instead he had merely shrugged. "Might be because if he does show me I would cause too much trouble." he stated as an answer. Of course it was obvious that it was something else but he wasn't going to say that. As usual, he was going to act stupid and ignorant to try to brighten things up. With how dark it could be, he would like to take any chance to brighten it up even if it would only last for a small instant.
"It's this way," She had pointed out and the prince followed her. Yeah it seems to be the desolate area alright. Very few servants come here to clean even since not many come to this side. The side that his father never stepped foot in. Zephyr followed her but the place was so quiet that he can hear their own footsteps or maybe it was just his acute sense of hearing? "I used to hide down there a lot," Really? All he did hear was play tag with Ai but that wasn't much either. They never really found any good place to hide but it was wide and since there weren't that many people it was easy to run and not bump into anyone. It was here that he saw some portraits of Tuesday as well. She was never in any of the other side so he had simply thought that it was an old side many generations ago. That was until he had recognized his father and was able to put two and two together anyway. At first he had thought his father didn't like her, it was something normal when it came to royal families. Their bonds wasn't usually strong, he should know as he rarely talk to his father unless it was something that had to do with politics. Actually, he was sure that he was closer to Ai and she was just his bodyguard. Not that he hated the man, no he respected him but never really saw him as a father as much as a king.
Soon she started to tell him of stories while pointing out some of the hiding spot. Some was in an armor and the other was actually some passages that he never quite notice. He mentally kept them in mind for whenever he felt like playing some kind of prank on Ai. Then there came an unfinished story. "And when I was told I was getting married...." Oh yes, he had heard about that from rumors. That and the journal his father kept. He was always a curious kid and at times can be rather nosy. Besides, it was the only way for him to know what his father is like when he is not a king. There he learned that Tuesday had a fiance before she had died. There wasn't much besides the fact that the male was quiet and can be considered cold. "But that's a story for another day." It seems that story time was over. What a shame, he was actually rather curious about his aunt. He heard most of the stories about his father from her even as a little kid. He never really could ask the man himself and so he always had to use a secondary source but it was a lot better than nothing.
At the end she pointed to another hiding spot. "Good thing he isn't home much then." he chimed although there was a small hint of disappointment in his voice. "And you won't tell others if I hide here right?" he asked doing his best to personified a picture of innocence. Yet his smile widened and it was a sign that he was already coming up with ideas that would cause small trouble to the castle. Oh yes, the male was a trouble maker alright.

Tuesday continued showing him the hiding spots laughing at a few from the memories. She was partly glad he didn't ask about her fiance or the wedding. It was difficult to explain that whole story. But in another way she was disappointed he didn't ask. Perhaps it meant he wasn't ready to hear the story? She hoped it was because he was being a gentleman and not wanting to bother her about the story. She wanted to tell him, she really did. She just wasn't sure when she should or when he was ready to hear it. When she did tell him she wanted to tell him everything that happened. But not who her murderer was for several reasons. She wanted someone to finally enter her room and find out what happened and solve her case.
She gazed around the hallway. All the memories where so overwhelming. She could practically see her younger self bolting down the hall swinging her arms out as if she were a bird laughing loudly as her friend would follow down the hall laughing along. She could barley hear the laughter now. She remembered the joy that this hallway and secrecy of the tunnels and rooms brought her. She felt herself choke up as she watched the memories. She got older and older. The joy changed from a happy moment to a sad moment back to a happy moment. The things that made her cry became a little more serious and frightening. She bit her lip closing her eyes. The mixed emotions merging itself with the memories. 'Not now,'
she thought desperately to herself. 'remember later. Not now.... Please, not now!' The princess took in a deep breath and slowly let it out. Tuesday opened her eyes watching her memory of the last time she ran down this hallway. The time she told she was getting married. There was neither joy nor tears in her eyes. Simply fear. What kind of life would she have after she got married? What would happen? She would have to take on a whole new life and she was told when she was getting married. Arranged so that peace would be kept. Not because she fell in love. Everything changed though over that short time though. Her emotions, her actions, everything. She bit her bottom lip as hard as she could preventing a few sobs and quickly getting herself under control before she broke down into tears. She successfully did this. Tuesday felt the strength over her emotions enter back and she replaced this with a happy look on her face. "You'll like all the books," she said looking at him. "Some of them are super long other's are kind of short. Your dad used to read them to me..." she explained. It was obvious that she was trying to hide emotions. She wondered why she would show Zephyr this if it brought back so many mixed emotions. Well, deep down Tuesday saw it as a first step in trying to get Zephyr more curious of what happened in this castle. The walls had so many stories to tell but had no mouth. Luckily there was Tuesday who could act as the wall's mouth to tell the stories. However she just wanted to tell someone who wanted to hear and solve a mystery or two so that the same mistakes would not be made. She didn't want to tell someone because they just want to know what happened. Having someone solve your own murder because they cared about you would be the greatest thing in the world. So you'd imagine Tuesday was very hurt when the king himself didn't have at least a single person enter her room to find out what happened and bring justice to Tuesday so that she may rest in peace. Tuesday stopped in her steps staring at a large elegant door. This door wasn't the regular wood-colored door. The door was painted with an beautiful pink and gold trimming with glass handles. Above the handles was a large chunk of old wood cut down in half so that the door may open but locked with a large old lock that hasn't been opened in years. Tuesday's room. She smiled, hiding the pain bit not so successfully. "I've even hid in here plenty of times." she said. "There's a few tunnels leading from my closet...They haven't been used in years though." She paused for another long moment and looked down at her feet. It was one of those silences that you found deep thoughts in that had nothing to do with the topic that was on everyone's minds. "Zephyr, You'll make a good king some day." she said with a little smile. She turned away from the door. "There's a bunch of bookshelves not too far from here." she said. This time she didn't mind if he asked about what was in there that had to be locked away. She in fact wanted him to ask about it. Hopefully he would. But she feared if he did she wouldn't be able to answer. "It's a pretty large room too. I think you'll like it a lot." [/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][bg=black][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellpadding,15,true] "You'll like all the books," All of them? That was good, that meant that there weren't going to be any tragedies. Oh how, the male despised them so. Always so sad and somber, far too realistic for his taste. Sure it was strange to have such an opinion since he was old enough to be a realist. Yet he continued to live in his own little world where he tries his best to make a happy ending even if he knew that most of the lives end in tragedy. There were some that he would like to prevent to the best of his ability. Tuesday was a good example. She was such a happy girl always smiling and pulling pranks but at the same time she was wise. Sure at times she would scare people always but she has never hurt anyone. The idea of her dying and no one solving the case, her love ones moving on without giving a second glance to remember her in fond memory. That was truly the greatest tragedy of all and it was one that he couldn't stand. That was why he wanted to get to know about her and remember the time they spend together. The time they would laugh or how she guided him when he was lost in the castle. The times where he would see her scared and would stand there waiting for her to calm down. All the moments he had spent were the memories he wanted to keep but the thing he wanted the most was to solve the mystery. He knew that she knew who it was. Why wouldn't she? The problem was that he didn't know why she wouldn't tell anyone so that person could be put to justice. Was she punishing herself or protecting the person? He wasn't sure since he had never asked, he never really saw it as his place to ask so he would usually resort to something he hated...waiting.
"Some of them are super long other's are kind of short. Your dad used to read them to me..." She stated most likely remembering some of the memories. He merely smiled and joked. "Really? Then maybe I can read some to you some day or would you like to read some of them to me?" Although it was a joke, he really was putting the offer up. He was willing to read some of them to her since it sounded rather fun. Also he was going to need to do something while he is here hiding right so why not read to her? Of course it could work the other way around. As a young kid people never really read books to him, his mother usually busy with his father so he would always have to resort to reading it himself unlike most kids.
Soon they stopped in front of a rather large door. To be honest he had never seen it before and so he was naturally curious to see what was behind the door. Obviously whatever it was, was going to be feminine but that was the only information he has gotten. "There's a few tunnels leading from my closet...They haven't been used in years though." So that was what it was. His room had one too but he never really used it due to the fact that Ai knew where it led to and would just wait for him. So it wasn't exactly the best escape route for him at all. He placed his hand on the door for a moment and he can feel some of woods chipped off from termites. What age must have done to this door. It wasn't in it's pristine condition anymore but it can still be appreciated. A door that led to her room. The prince knew that there was a hidden door leading to her room. All of the royal rooms had one in case of emergency but he had never found it no matter how had he tried. To think that it would just present it to him after years of giving up. Life can be rather ironic alright.
Soon the girl had turned away from the door and the male reluctantly followed suit. "There's a bunch of bookshelves not too far from here." Guess that was the books she wanted to lead him to then? "It's a pretty large room too. I think you'll like it a lot." Well that certainly got his attention. He always did like large rooms instead of cramp ones. Maybe it was caused by how big the castle was or it was just the kind of person he was. Zephyr didn't know but he didn't really care either. Even more was that Tuesday said he would like it and she knew him rather well."Well then lets go shall we?" he asked. In the back of his mind though, he still dwelt at the door.

Tuesday smiled as she walked. They were getting close now. It wasn't too far away from here. It was now that she realized how big the castle actually was. It was a really nice looking castle. A place she always called home. Even after death despite that feeling of being forgotten by her family. At least there was Zephyr. He'd remember her. "Sure,"
she said happily. "My favorite are at the very top of the bookshelf." The bookshelves were really big actually, reaching all the way up the top of the wall. "Right there!" Tuesday pointed at a rather tall and wide double door. They were strong cherry wood doors covered in a layer of dust and cob webs. They looked impossible to open. However one of the doors were propt open. On the door that was closed had a pice of paper taped to it. On that paper had a little note with Tuesday's and her brother's hand writing on it. It was torn in several spots and the paper was old causing parts of the words to be missing. On that paper explained how the library was a secret and they would never tell anyone mean. They were young so, it wasn't exactly offical looking. It looked as if a few little kids made it. Tuesday stared at the paper for a long moment and then let out a laugh of the memory. "I had so much fun back here when I was young." she said looking up at him. She carefully slid into the room looking at the beautiful features of the cherry wood shelves that stacked up to the high roof. Every inch of the magnificent shelves were crammed with thick books with hard covers and gold letters on the side. The walls were painted a olive green color with gold and black metal holding up candles that were half gone and burnt out. A large window framed ninty percent of a single wall covered in heavy red curtians with gold floaral designs. Tuesday quickly skipped over partly sliding across the marble tile. She grabed a gold rope and pulled it. The curtains gracefully slid to each side revealing a magnificint view of Forestille. You could see the faintly dimmed lights from little houses in the distant. She watched for a few moments and then turned around. "Isn't it great?" she s aid spreading her arms out to gesture to the entire room. "It's nice back here. Especially at night when the candles are lit." she turned to a few chairs around a small side table and sat down crossing her legs sitting up nicely. "It's so easy to lose track of time back here." she closed her eyes laying her head on the back of the chair sighing deeply. For a second she just unravled letting loose all the stress and memories and just living in the moment and hoping to stay there. She could live day by day. Perhaps thats how she got this far. That and it's not like she could kill herself. Besides, if she could she wouldn't. She wanted to some how get over this and wait in this castle till the end of her story finally came and her murderer was cuaght. That would make her the happiest person in the world. She opened her eyes after a few moments and jumped up. She gazed up at the bookshelf. "Do you want to choose one first?" she asked smiling at him stepping aside so that he could grab one first. [/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][bg=black][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellpadding,15,true] "Sure," She had answered but he wasn't sure what it was to. The offer or the little joke of her being the one to read to him since technically she was the older one. For now he supposed he would just say that it was the offer because of her statement on which one was her favorite. He followed her through the door that was not very clean. Not many people came to this section of the castle alright, not even when Zephyr was young and loved to explore the walls did he came to this place. Seeing that there was more to the castle though it was starting to look less dull. Maybe he should go back to exploring it some day just for fun again, especially on days where he had nothing to do...which now that he thought about it was a lot of days. That was why he would sneak out on a lot of the days in the first place. Hmm, should he ask Ai if she want to come too? Well in a way she was obligated to come being his bodyguard but he wouldn't force her. He never forced her to do anything, other people though, well that was a different story. Not too many people like her in the castle due to her race after all. Some even calling her blood sucker, not when he is around though. He simply knew because sometimes the word would slip. It was rather annoying.
As they entered the door, the silver haired male saw a note but the words were faded and not very neatly written. He couldn't really decipher anything at all due to the age. All he could see were the two signature but even then he couldn't tell who it was. Assuming that Tuesday's story is true though, it would be her and his father's. To think, someone as well known as his father to have such childish handwriting. It was something that would be fun to bring up one day. He saw the ghost laugh though so it was obviously a fond memory. He smiled warmly happy to see that she was smiling wholeheartedly unlike most of his smiles that was nothing more than a mere mask. Yeah, the two girls were out of her mind right now alright. "I had so much fun back here when I was young." She stated looking up at him before sliding through the door. He had followed along, slightly thankful of the fact that he was skinny, a rare time since a lot of people say that he should eat more, especially as a kid.
Once inside though he saw the stacks of books. Well, no more going out to buy some, at least old ones anyway. Just how in the world had he never found such a place or for that matter how did everyone else not find it? Still he shook his head, he would check them out later, right now was the time to go find Tuesday the book that she wanted him to read to her. Before that though he made a small comment "You shouldn't talk like that or else you would sound old." he replied a bit mockingly. He just couldn't help it, he was playful and loved to tease people that are close to him, Ai should know that rather well with all the constant teasing he gives her. The prince though did agree with her a bit. Things were a lot easier when they were kids. As a kid he could hold Ai's hands and play with her. He could walk into her room and keep her company while always falling asleep before she did. He could hug her whenever he was cold and no one would say anything but as he grew older things would change, things always change. It was just how life was whether he liked it or not. As he grew up things got complicated, soon things that were habits, he was forbidden to do but that didn't stop him from sneaking off and doing it. Of course the problem with doing it in secret was the chance of getting caught.
He watched the ghost open up the curtain showing a great view of Forestile. Although it was mainly the Eastern as he couldn't see too many dark places. Although he could see a small amount of what he would assume to be the Underworld. He had never been there himself and so he couldn't be too sure about it. "It's nice back here. Especially at night when the candles are lit." That's true, then there would be a lot of lights. Hmm, maybe for Christmas they can spend the night here and look for Santa. With a good view they might be able to see him and wave out to him or maybe just to go and watching at the snow falling down creating a white blanket. He wasn't too sure but ideas were coming to his head. This would be a good place for fireworks too now that he thought about it since there wasn't too much blocking the way.
For a moment though the male wondered what would happen if he showed Ai the sight. Although she wouldn't like it unless it's night probably since there would be a lot of sun showing in the day and being a vampire...well that wasn't a good thing. "Do you want to choose one first?" Huh? Zephyr turned towards the bookshelf and decided to walk tot he top one that she wanted and grab the top book. He opened it to have some dust in his face. Yeah, he was going to have to clean up first...a prince cleaning. He can already see his bodyguard laughing at the notion. Quickly he flip the pages to get rid of the dust to find that it was a rather long book and it would take several days. Well he wouldn't mind that then. "You wanted this one right?" he asked waving the book to her making sure not to do it too hard as he was scared the pages might rip.

Tuesday smiled watching the room. It seemed as if she had walked into memories, just as she thought. Some of them were bad but most of them were good. She was actually happy she came down here. In a way she was tempted to push a little to get Zephyr to ask more about her room or even the past perhaps. She didn't tell anyone because it was painful. The painful part was that nobody bothered to try to find out. She really hoped that Zephyr would push for an investigation of her death. But she didn't want to have to request it. She wanted someone to care enough to get up and do it their selves. Perhaps thats why she was sticking a round for so long?
Again, the repletion of her thoughts brought her down. She didn't want to show what she was thinking about or what she has been bottling up for so many years. She didn't want to break down in front of anyone. She didn't want Zephyr to think that the only thing she could actually think about was her death. It was kind of hard not to though since she could have still been alive. Old, but alive. A beating heart and actually breathing and having those breaths mean something rather then just nothing.
That wasn't possible though. She was so thankful when Zephyr started teasing her. It brought her out of her depressing thoughts. She felt as if he saved her from herself. She smiled and laughed along too. "I have the pleasure to be old and young at the same time~"
she stated. However there were things she never get to experience. Sure, she got to stay young but then again do you truly have an age after you die? Perhaps you were just stuck at a certain age. It was really confusing especially since Tuesday didn't exactly act her age. So she looked eighteen, acted like she was a kid, and in all reality would be fifty-eight if she were alive. She watched him as he flipped through the book. She laughed a little at the dust waving her hand around so that the dust would clear. 'I guess nobody's been back here in a very long time She thought to herself. "Yeah, that one~" she said with a smile. "That's a really good one!" she added. It was a pretty long book. Longer then she had thought it would be. But the nice thing about books is that it's fun when they are long and short. Either way you still get a good beginning, middle, and end. She always liked being read too. Reading to other's was fun too. Just listening to someone Else's voice was just a great thing. For some reason she found a difference when someone with a beating heart was speaking and when she was speaking. Or even listening to someone's heart beat. It was something she obsessed over. "And when you get tired of reading that I'll read you something!" she added happily. She thought for a few moments glancing outside at the rain and then looked back at him. "But I don't think we should go outside after we get board. If you got sick I'd never forgive myself. So maybe after this we should do something that you want to do!" She went and sat back down in her chair and patted the one beside her. "I have this chair reserved just for you!" [/blockquote]

[bg=black][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellpadding,15,true] | [atrb=background, i53.tinypic.com/347xw7l.jpg] leave the past behind LOOK FORWARD FOR THE FUTURE |

[atrb=border,0,true][bg=black][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellpadding,15,true] It was nice to hear Tuesday laugh since she sounded like some innocent child despite the fact that she was in her fifties. Really, anyone staring at her right now wouldn't believe it. "I have the pleasure to be old and young at the same time~" Oh how true she was, to be able to live long and stay pretty. Really, in the back of his mind he can hear the many girls that would want such a position. Although for him, he found it more of saddening because she was dead and was here with regret instead of moving on. He chuckled himself though her laughter being quite contagious. She wasn't really what most would call a ghost at all. Since she wasn't scary and she didn't exactly haunt anyone, just the castle. She was rather harmless as well and didn't seem to seek vengeance. Well not that he know of since he didn't even know the reason why she was still here. She just was, he had many attempts of finding out {never asking her though} but in the end he could never find out the reason why.
When the dust flew out, under the sunlight it sparkled a bit and Tuesday laughed. "Yeah, that one~" She confirmed it making him rather happy since he didn't want to dust the book for nothing. That would be a waste of energy and well, the male can be lazy at times. Not that stopped him from going out from time to time, he just kind of hated putting work and getting nothing out of it. Then again who didn't? "That's a really good one!" She continued and as the prince opened up the book to the very last page just to read the ending. He gave a small nod, it wasn't exactly a tragedy from the looks of it but it wasn't a happy ending either. In other words it was bittersweet, he tended to avoid these as well but if his aunt wanted him to read it then why not he supposed. Besides, maybe the bittersweet ending will be more happy than sad? Either that or he was going to have to try to focus more on the side characters than the main one, it wouldn't exactly be the first time he has done that. He always did like the side characters more actually simply because the main ones can get stereotypical from time to time.
"And when you get tired of reading that I'll read you something!" Well that didn't sound so bad but it might take him a while before he gets tired, once he gets into a book it is rather hard to get him out of it. He always becomes entranced by the books he reads that he never wants to close it after the first sentence. Of course he would always have to set himself to or else he would just be reading all day, which isn't so bad if he didn't have work to do, places to go to and people to accompany. Not that he minded it since spending all your life reading doesn't sound exactly fun even if reality isn't as good as the books or at least the happy ones anyway. "Sure why not. Although that might take a while." he stated. That and the fact that people might be looking for him right now. Oh well, it would be fun to hide out for a while and talk to his aunt or rather read her a book.
Slowly he proceeded over to the spirit, the book now opened to the first chapter. Yeah it was going to take a few sessions but oh well, at least it would last them longer. He saw her look outside though and tilted his head his face showing curiosity to what she was thinking right now. "But I don't think we should go outside after we get board. If you got sick I'd never forgive myself. So maybe after this we should do something that you want to do!" Eh? But he kind of wanted to go outside, okay sure he would be sick but he gets sick a lot so it's not like it's much. His face turned to a childish pout. "Really? But auntie Tuesday, the castle can get so quiet and boring." he stated his tone a mock whine. Yeah, he truly looked like a child right now with how he acted. In truth he was happy that she worried about him but really, there wasn't anything to worry about. Sure he might get sick but it happens so often that he is used to it by now. It's a small price to pay for the two of them to have some fun together. Besides, they could go out and get an umbrella if she is afraid of him getting wet and he would wear some extra layer of clothes to banish the cold.
Zephyr walked over and sat on the chair that she had reserved for him, even though they were the only two in here. For a moment a part of him wondered if he was here only because he was to replace his father. After all he looked similar to him and he was reading her a book right now. Quickly though he dismissed it and slowly began to read.

Tuesday leaned back and smiled "I have all the time in the world,"
she commented. She could stay back here for a while. In fact she didn't have to eat. She could really stay back here for a long time. However Zephyr was still alive. He had to eat, he had to have water, and he certainly had responcibility. She remembered how she had her own responcibility too. They were different from a pince's responcibility. He had to deal with different kinds of things. Both sides had difficulties so she never really had to face the ones of a prince. She did expirience other responcibilities though. Those of a princess could be difficult, especially when said princess had the guts to speak out. She always did admire those roal girls who had become royal pains just to get themselves heard. Her mother was one of them. Although annoying she was tough. She knew how to punish people fairly but still strictly. She didn't even hesitate on her own children. Tuesday really looked up to her for many things. She thought that her mother was a great woman who loved and cared for others but had no fear to show that bake bone of hers. "Besides. We can take turns~ I can read you a book or maybe tell you more stories. I'll tell some about your father if you'd like. You wouldn't believe the things that I could get my brother into." She laughed a little and closed her eyes for a moment just relaxing. She was ready to hear that story though. In a way she actually just wanted to keep talking. This was nice. Just the two of them having a good time not doing much yet having a great time. She honestly didn't want to rush anything right now. This is the kind of thing she would tell Zephyr's grand children one day. Just keep on telling people of all the great memories. She loved how different he was from his father. When she was alive she thought Zephyr's father would be a great king. But then she got to know Zephyr. Even though they looked alike, he was a lot different. He would be a good king. She hoped that Zephyr would rule the kingdom differently. She hoped that perhaps he would change a few things and not care what others think. Even if she would disagree with some his choices she would support him all the way. She loved Zephyr he was family. And family was supposed to support one another. That's what she would do for him whenever he need that or anything else. She was brought out of deep thought once more when he spoke. She stared at him a little surprised and then smiled. "Okay, we can go outside. But if you get sick I'm not leaving you're side until your completely better!" She nodded once. "And you should cover up so you wont get sick so easily." she was begining to get into a little bit protective and it was very obvious in her voice. She felt like her mother for a moment. That wouldn't be so bad though. Her mom, like said earlier, was a tough lady. Someone she really looked up too. Tuesday got up moving her chair a little closer to Zephyrs and then sitting down again with an innocent looking smile on her face. "I'll be like this if you get sick," she said. "Maybe too close but it doesn't matter because I can't get sick anyways." She honestly didn't mind if she dind't leave his side. She got board during the day hiding out in shadows and keeping away from the sun. So maybe Zephyr would get bored when he got sick too. They could be board together. Right? [/blockquote]
